Be A Star

Our sun provides life for everyone on Earth, but the earth does nothing for it. Often we might feel like the sun, providing for others and helping them to live their lives. But we don't have the same amount of energy as the sun. Our sun is a star. It has the name of Sol.
There are many types of stars, but this post is going to talk about three: yellow stars, red giants, and white dwarves. A star's energy comes from fusion, the merging of two atoms.
Our sun is a yellow star, young comparative to other stars, producing enough energy to enable life. The sun gives so much energy, so much life, but it doesn't worry about what else is around it. It doesn't care about the other planets, the solar system; it just does it thing and take care of itself. By focusing some on yourself you will find that you have more energy to deal with the things that matter to you.
Older stars, often called red giants, are stars that have spread too thin. Betelguese in the Orion constellation is a red giant. They are huge stars, but do not put out as a much light as other stars. They are constantly trying to expand to become bigger, but they are spread too thin and will collapse creating a supernova - massive explosion that destroys everything around it.
In January this year, we got to see a star supernova. Star NGC 5731 was ten times bigger than our own sun before it exploded. It is now a neutron star.
Which or who are you? Our sun? A red giant? Are you about to supernova?
A supernova is not necessarily a bad thing though; it is a change process. And some changes are for the better. When a star becomes a supernova it typically results in one of three states: total destruction - nothing left, a black hole, or a white dwarf star.
We want to avoid total destruction, that is the absence of life and energy. Also we want to avoid the status of a black hole. A place in space so powerful that light cannot even escape. Focusing in on yourself is good, but not to the exclusion of everything else.
But a white dwarf, it is smaller than a yellow star, but it is brighter and has much more energy than a yellow star. It has focused and refined its resources so that it is more efficient. The north star is a white dwarf, and it has been the guiding light for sailors for centuries.
By focusing in our energies on what is important, we are able to be the most productive, have the most energy, and achieve the best goals. Life coaching can help you find where you need to focus your energy.
